Fortnite 5.10 Content Update Patch Notes: Guided Missile, Fly Explosives Mode, and More

The Fortnite 5.10 Content Update patch notes have been unleashed by Epic Games, giving players the chance to read up on the latest changes to the game, including the addition of the controversial guided missile, as well as a new Fly Explosives limited time mode. There’s no doubt that the returning weapon and this new mode will compliment each other nicely, resulting in either extreme satisfaction, or complete frustration, with little emotions in between! (These guided missiles are certainly polarizing; even more so when combined with other devastating explosive weapons!)

The Fortnite 5.10 Content Update patch notes highlights include the aforementioned guided missile. This weapon makes a return, albeit in a nerfed state. The Fortnite guided missile shouldn’t be as devastating now, and PC players will find it much more difficult to navigate.

The new Fortnite Fly Explosives mode will allow players to test out the new-and-improved guided missile, alongside other explosive weaponry and equipment.

Save the World players will be happy to hear that the new Spyglass sniper rifle has been added to the game. This is a powerful single-shot sniper which packs a punch.

Those are the highlights of the Fortnite Content Update 5.10 patch notes. If you want to see the more minor — yet still very much appreciated — changes that Epic Games has made, check out the full list of patch notes here.

On Thursday, August 2, the new Season 5 Battle Pass challenges will become available to complete. If we’re lucky, Week 4 will focus on objectives that demand explosive kills, as the new Fly Explosives limited time mode would certainly come in useful!

Join us on July 2 for the latest Fortnite guides, as we make Week 4 a joy with maps to hidden Battle Stars, tips on how to complete the tougher challenges, and more!
