Fortnite Update 5.10 Release Date: Compact SMG, Founders Skins and More

It’s time to start wondering when the Fortnite Update 5.10 release date will be. Following Epic Games’ mention of the v5.10 update, which is set to include the new Fortnite Founders skins, players have been wondering when exactly they can expect the new Fortnite update to release. Here’s what you need to know about the Fortnite update 5.10 release date and its expected patch notes.

Fortnite Update 5.10 Release Date and Time

Despite previous updates being released on Thursdays, the Fortnite Update 5.10 release date is now confirmed to be July 24. This does indeed break the tradition of updates being released on Thursdays, but it seems to be for a good reason, as it takes place on the game’s first birthday.

As for the Fortnite Update 5.10 release time, the patch will be implemented at 4 a.m. ET. Downtime will occur, meaning players won’t be able to log in to the game until maintenance is complete. Expect patch notes to become available at 4 a.m. ET, giving players something to read while the servers are down. Based on previous periods of downtime, we expect the game to be unplayable for around an hour, though it could be longer or shorter.

Expected Fortnite Update 5.10 Patch Notes

Fortnite Update 5.10

It’s expected that the Fortnite Update 5.10 patch notes will detail the new compact SMG and the new Fortnite Founders skins. Both of these features have been announced as “coming soon” to the game, which can usually be translated to “in the next update.”

Other expected Fortnite Update 5.10 patch notes include new limited time modes, which could well be revamped returning modes. As is always the case, new bug fixes will likely be implemented, including improvements to specific platforms like console and mobile.

We’ll be covering the Fortnite Update 5.10 patch notes as soon as they release, alongside guides helping you get to grips with all of the new features.
