When Ubisoft first showed off that technical demonstration of Rainbow 6: Patriots, I must admit, I was totally floored. Since that time however, my hype has died down for the game considerably seeing as how we've heard next to nothing about the title for quite a while.
That all changes now, as Ubisoft president, Yves Guillemot recently spoke out in hopes of firing up that hype train once more.
In an interview with Polygon, Guillemot provided an update on Ubi's tactical shooter. “The only thing I can say is that we have a good team working on it, and it’s really looking good. So when it will come, it will surprise the industry.” When asked by the outlet whether or not the game will be on next-gen consoles, he replied by saying that “there’s a good chance it can be.”
So, maybe a holiday 2013 release for the PS4 and Xbox 720? Oh man, I hope so!
