As seen below, the Fortnite Week 1 secret Battle Star location is to the west of Lazy Links, which is one of the new areas added in the 5.0 update. Head to the red dot on the map below, spot the Battle Star amidst the crash site, and hit the “Search” prompt. You’ll get a message confirmation and be gifted that free tier. Nice work!

In case you didn’t know, finding the Fortnite Week 1 secret Battle Star location is only the first step towards earning the Road Trip skin. You’ll need to complete another six weeks’ worth of challenges in order to unlock that.

When you complete a week of the Season 5 Battle Pass, you’ll be granted an additional 5,000 XP and a loading screen. Those bonus loading screens always seem to hint at something, and most of the time contain a secret Battle Star. Keep an eye out for future hidden Battle Stars contained within the loading screens, as you don’t want to miss out on any free tiers!
