Fortnite Season 5 Teaser Image 3 Revealed: “Worlds Collide Tomorrow”

Epic Games has released one final Fortnite Season 5 teaser image, showing more rifts cracking around the text: “Worlds collide tomorrow.”. This follows the “3 days remaining” and “2 days remaining” images, which each inspired various theories within the community. In reality, however, there’s very little concrete evidence on what exactly players will go up against in Season 5. Some are expecting a Wild West world, on an island covered in sand, while others (like myself) are expecting multiple eras to be featured throughout the Season. The teasers so far hint at many different cultures and periods, so it seems possible that Epic Games will transport players to multiple different times.

You can check out the new Fortnite Season 5 teaser image in the tweet below. (Note the ridiculous amount of likes and retweets. The community is clearly hyped!)

Of course, until tomorrow arrives, we have no way of knowing what exactly is going to happen when Fortnite Season 5 kicks off. The transition from Season 3 to Season 4 featured a massive meteor crashing into the island, reshaping the landscape. Season 4 also introduced a theme of superheroes. You can expect Season 5 to boast its own theme.

Epic Games has remained tight-lipped about the new Fortnite Season, and even dataminers have been stumped. Normally, new game patches contain hidden information that tease upcoming game modes, cosmetics, weapons, and other features. With the latest patch, however, there was very little information on anything related to Season 5. The good news is that, when July 12’s expected 5.0 update drops, the dataminers will have new files to dig into. We’re expecting to learn a hell of a lot!

Here’s hoping Fortnite Season 5 keeps adding to the fun. With other battle royale titles coming out, including the variants bundled with Battlefield 5 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Epic Games will need to keep on pumping out imaginative and compelling new content.
