Fortnite Fly Explosives: High Explosives Jetpack Mode Guide

The Fortnite Fly Explosives limited time mode could well be the best ever game type to grace the Battle Royale component. That is, providing you like explosives and the polarizing jetpack item. If you’re on the side that absolutely hates the “too easy” rocket launchers and “OP” jetpack, then the Fortnite Fly Explosives mode is probably going to be your worst nightmare… Here’s what you need to know about the new limited time mode, which should help you decide whether to give it a try, or avoid it entirely!

Fortnite Fly Explosives Limited Time Mode Rules

The Fortnite Fly Explosives limited time mode will apparently combine “the explosive fun of the High Explosives limited time mode and the vaulted limited time item jetpack.” Players will be able to “take to the skies and blast everyone back to the lobby!”

Changes to the usual Battle Royale formula include jetpacks being found as floor loot. All explosive-type weapons can be found in the Fly Explosives mode, so get searching those treasure chests and supply drops for the rarer items.

Unless Epic Games switches things up before its release, the Fortnite Fly Explosives mode will support solo, duos, and squads.

Fortnite Fly Explosives Release Date

Fortnite Fly Explosives

The Fortnite Fly Explosives information comes from @FNBRLeaks on Twitter, who is a reliable dataminer responsible for many other accurate leaks. The latest 4.5 update featured new loading screen details and the mode description. Unfortunately, there isn’t a Fortnite Fly Explosives release date mentioned in the datamined game files.

As we’ve seen with previous leaked limited time modes, it’s possible that Fortnite Fly Explosives will launch as early as this week. However, Epic Games has sometimes delayed upcoming modes, so it’s possible that Fly Explosives will be saved for a later date.

Stay tuned to GameRevolution for all of the latest Fortnite news.
