While Fortnite Switch may have dominated the recent possible Nintendo E3 2018 leak, there is one game on the sheet that has piqued the interest of many: Killer Queen Black. Strangely, despite being a rumored re-release of a currently existing video game, not much is known about the potential upcoming Nintendo Switch title. Of course, we’ll find out very soon but, if you want a head start on your friends in time for E3 2018, here is everything you need to know about Killer Queen Black.
Killer Queen Black: What is Killer Queen Black?
Developed by Bumblebear Games, Killer Queen is described as ‘the world’s only 10-player arcade game.’ Released in 2013, the title sees two teams of five duke it out on a platform-heavy environment, with one player on each team being the eponymous Queen.
From there, you have three ways to lead your team to victory: Fill up your team’s hive with berries; ride the (slow) snail to your team’s goal, or kill the enemy’s Queen three times. This video will give you a better insight into what you might expect.
As for the ‘Black’ portion of Killer Queen, expect it to represent a beefed-up, complete version of the arcade game, complete with all the bells and whistles of what you’d expect from a home console release. Whether that is online multiplayer, a single-player component or something else entirely is entirely up for debate, but at least one of those features would seem likely.
Killer Queen Black: When Will It Be Announced?
If (and, again, this is still from an unsubstantiated document), the Nintendo E3 2018 leak rings true, expect to see Killer Black Queen make its bow at the Nintendo Direct Treehouse on Tuesday, June 12 at 12pm EST/5pm BST during E3 2018.
Killer Queen Black: Is It A Switch Exclusive?
As of right now, we just don’t know. However, you’d wager that, with it being part of the rumored line-up for Nintendo at E3 2018, and the fact the style of the game looks well-suited for Nintendo’s console, Killer Queen Black will be at the very least a timed exclusive for the Switch, should it exist.
