Overwatch Free Weekend 2018

Overwatch Free Weekend 2018: Start Time, End Time, More

If for some odd reason, you are interested in the game and haven’t bought it yet, then you can be happy to know that the Overwatch Free Weekend 2018 is almost upon us! The popular hero shooter online game will be free for everyone around the world on all three platforms for one weekend only.

Blizzard has attempted this in the past and the Overwatch Free Weekend 2018 is a great way to get your friends (or yourself) who haven’t played it before a chance to jump in for the first time. With so many new heroes that have been added over the last year, there is so much content for new players to enjoy. But when is it?

Overwatch Free Weekend 2018 Start Time, End Time, More

The Overwatch Free Weekend 2018 arrives just after the launch of the Anniversary 2018 event that begins on May 22nd, 2018. The Free Weekend itself begins on May 25th, 2018. The exact time for it is 11:00 am PT on that Friday so plan accordingly to make sure you have the right time for your specific region.

Players will be able to jump into the Overwatch Free Weekend 2018 on any of the platforms of PC, Xbox One, and PS4. The end time for the weekend will be Monday, May 28th, 2018 at 11:59 pm PT so you have a full few days to enjoy the 27 heroes, 18 maps, and so much more. Any progress made during the free weekend will carry over should you decide to purchase the full game.

In addition, PS4 players will not need a PlayStation Plus account in order to enjoy the Overwatch Free Weekend 2018, however, Xbox One players will need Xbox Live Gold in order to participate. Of course, PC players won’t need to worry about any of those as they simply have to download the game directly from the Battle.net online service.
