Beyoncí¨ Sued for $100 Million in Breach of Video Game Contract

Singer and songwriter, Beyoncè Knowles, is being sued to the tune of $100 million in response to her breaching a contract with video game developer, Gate Five. Gate Five was creating a motion-sensing dance game based on Mrs. Jay-Z entitled Starpower: Beyoncè. The former Destiny's Child star pulled out on a "whim", destroying Gate Five's business and leaving 70 employees without a job just a week before Christmas.

According to the court summons, Beyoncè "made an extortionate demand for entirely new compensation terms" that even her manager at the time, her father, Mathew Knowles, "renounced" her actions. This may have even led to her severing business ties with Mr. Knowles as of last month.

I guess if Gate Five liked it, they shoulda put a ring on it, eh?
