Risky Reels in Fortnite is one of the new locations added with the start of Season 4. Instead of taking out Tilted Towers, like many speculated, the comet took out Dusty Depot, and in the process, Risky Reels was added to Fortnite: Battle Royale. Below we’ll show you how to get to Risky Reels in Fortnite, and where it’s located on the new map.
Where is Risky Reels in Fortnite: Battle Royale?
Risky Reels is in a part of Fortnite‘s map that was relatively empty before Season 4. North of Wailing Woods, in the northeast corner of the map there was an empty area that was a favored landing location for more cautious players. Well, Epic must have thought that spot was a little too empty because now Risky Reels is located there.
Risky Reels is one of the smaller locations in Fortnite, but there’s still plenty of cover that can lead to some intense firefights. The area is a drive-in theater which has been struck by a chunk of the comet, so there are lots of cars scattered about that will be useful for zigging and zagging behind.
The key to fighting in Fortnite‘s Risky Reels location is taking the high ground so you can get a bird’s-eye view of the area and take out your opponents while they think they’re safely behind cover. Since Risky Reels is a brand-new location, you can expect plenty of people to be landing there so they can check it out. With such a small location being a hotspot, there’s sure to be some intense action there for the next few weeks.
Since Risky Reels is located near the edge of the Fortnite map, you’ll likely only want to spend a bit of time there before you move on. The storm rarely favors areas close to the edge of the map, and Risky Reels will likely be outside of the eye of the storm during its first movement.
