Fortnite Global Axe and Brite Gunner: Info on Fortnite’s Newest Items

With Fortnite season 4 on the horizon and meteors raining down everywhere you look, it’s only right that things get weird. Case in point? These new Fortnite featured items. Say hello to the Fortnite Global Axe and Brite Gunner skin.

Fortnite Global Axe and Brite Gunner: How Much Are The New Items?

Both the Fortnite Global Axe and Brite Gunner skin will, if you wish to purchase both items, set you back 2,700 V-Bucks.

The Global Axe will cost 1,200 V-Bucks while the Brite Gunner skin will set players back 1,500 V-Bucks.

They can both be bought from the Item Shop menu in the Featured Items section on the left-hand side of the page. Neither item, as ever, can be gifted to other users.

Fortnite Global Axe and Brite Gunner: When Do They Leave the Item Shop?

The Fortnite Global Axe and Brite Gunner will only be available for a limited time, with the timer running out at 9pm EST/2am BST on Monday, April 30. With the rotation bringing about some fantastic items in recent days, you’ll have to make a snap decision as to whether you want to splash out on these featured items or wait for new items in 24 hours’ time.

Fortnite Global Axe and Brite Gunner: What Do They Look Like?

As you can see below, the Brite Gunner skin comes with a superhero-style mesh (is that a hint, Epic?) along with a unique look of sleeveless top combined with an armor plated right arm. Plus, purple fingerless gloves and a shirt emblazoned with a picture of a cutesy teddy bear dual-wielding a pair of SMGs. Because of course.

Speaking of potential Fortnite season 4 hints, the Fortnite Global Axe sure is interesting. Essentially a science 101 model of our solar system, the timing of the axe comes at a time when Fortnite players are looking to the stars more than ever. Coincidental timing or something more? Judge for yourself in Fortnite player Philly_m8’s video – and check out the Global Axe’s Mars. It sure looks prominent…
