Squat Kick Fortnite: Price, Expiry Date, How to Unlock the New Fortnite Emote

Fortnite is nothing if not generous with its new and instantly meme-worthy content. Take the Fortnite Squat Kick for example: the new Fortnite emote is sure to anger any and every opponent you come across – which is more than enough reason for you to buy it. Here’s how to do exactly that.

Squat Kick Fortnite: How to Buy the New Fortnite Emote

As always, you’re going to want to head to the game’s storefront. It is the fifth tab along under the heading ‘Item Shop’. On consoles, press R1 or RB four times if you’re on your main profile screen to get to the Item Shop.

Once there, the main page will have two featured items and six tiled daily items. The Squat Kick will be under the daily items. Click on the Squat Kick tile to bring up its item page. You can then buy it there with V-Bucks.

Squat Kick Fortnite: Cost of the New Fortnite Emote

The Squat Kick will set you back 800 V-Bucks. To buy that, you’re (obviously) going to need the required amount. Grinding will take you a while so the preferred method, thanks to the item’s limited availability, maybe to buy V-Bucks with real-world currency.

1000 V-Bucks is the minimum amount you will need to purchase. This will cost roughly £7.99/$9.99.

Squat Kick Fortnite: When Does the New Fortnite Emote Expire

As it’s only a daily item, you won’t have very long at all to make your move on snapping up the Squat Kick. The new emote launched at 9 pm EST/2 am BST and lasts only 24 hours, ending on April 28 at 9 pm EST/2 am BST, so be quick! There is, as always, a chance the Squat Kick will return at some point in the near future, however.

Squat Kick Fortnite: What Does the New Fortnite Emote Look Like

The Fortnite Squat Kick, as you can see from the official Twitter announcement below, has taken its inspiration from Russian dancing, particularly at festive parties. Yes, I Googled that. No, I’m not an expert on Russian dancing.
