Further Details on Nintendo ‘Stream’?

The latest batch of rumors come from no other than IGN, who believes that Nintendo's new console also codenamed 'Stream' will cost somewhere between $350 and $400 to build by summing all of its projected component parts.

The Taiwanese firm Foxconn will handle the manufacturing and puts the release date of the console somwhere between mid-October and mid-November, though the console could forgo the holiday season in favor of a better launch window early next year.

The report confirms CVG's own speculations that the controllers themselves will have screens, with which the console can feed games to each player, whether or not the games are related at all. The console will include a "revamped version of AMD's R700 GPU architecture, no AMD's Fusion technology", and will outperform PS3's NVIDIA 7800GTX-based processor.

With a custom-built triple-core IBM PowerPC chipset, the console will "resemble a modernized version of the Super Nintendo" and be capable of 1080p graphics with stereoscopic 3D support.
