Finding a Snow-White Rhino in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is the objective of a tricky side quest. The Young Man’s Prize quest tasks you with finding the location of the Snow-White Rhino, a rare type of beetle that you can only find in a particular area at a certain time of the day.

How to Start The Young Man’s Prize Side Quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 2
To trigger the quest, you’ll need to head to the Grodd Residential Zone. You can find it in Torogoth in Gormott Province. In Torogoth you’ll find an area where a rope bridge connects two sides of the city over a giant chasm. Grodd Residential Zone is down the stairs near the bridge on the eastern side of the chasm.
Once you head down the stairs into Grodd Residential Zone, you’ll see an NPC named Eluned. Talk to him, and The Young Man’s Prize will start.
How to Find the Snow-White Rhino in Xenoblade Chronicles 2
The Snow-White Rhino is elusive. It only shows up in one spot at a specific time each day. To find its territory, you’ll need to head out to the plains in the Upper Level – Right area of Gormott Province.
If you look at the map of Upper Level – Right you’ll see a small island just off the central land mass in the northeastern part of the area. That’s your target.
Before you leave, Torogoth make sure that the cloud level is high. Otherwise, you won’t be able to cross to the small island. Skip Travel to the closest point you can and just head in the direction of the island.
Once you get there, you’ll have to jump off the cliff into the cloud sea. If you raised the sea to the proper level, you should be able to climb on the island. There you can get the treasure chest and get ready to skip time.

Set the current time to 5:00 AM in your menu. Once you exit the menu, you’ll see a glowing red bag that contains the Snow-White Rhino. Pick it up and Skip Travel back to Grodd Residential Zone.
Talk to Eluned once you’re back in Torogoth and he’ll give you 500 Gold, 480 XP, 49 SP, and a Fabulous Hat.
