The Destiny 2 Faction Rally has been introduced, allowing players to select from one of three Factions in order to obtain Legendary weapons, armor and shaders. Here’s how you can join each faction, and how you can get your hands on all that nice-looking gear.
Where to find Dead Orbit, Future War Cult and New Monarchy
Each of Destiny 2’s Factions can be found in the Tower. Here are their locations:
Dead Orbit location
Dead Orbit representative Arach Jalaal can be found in the northwest of the Hangar.
Future War Cult location
Future War Cult representative Lakshmi-2 can be found in the Hangar, up a set of stairs leading to a room marked with the Faction’s red, yellow and white “F” logo.
New Monarchy location
New Monarchy representative Executor Hideo can be found in the southwest of the Bazaar, in its furthermost corner

The three Factions players can choose from — Dead Orbit, Future War Cult and New Monarchy — each have their own selection of Legendary gear that players can earn by doing them. While the gear remains the same across all Factions in terms of stats and Power level, they differ greatly when it comes to their style. If you’re into your Destiny 2 fashion, you’re going to want to think long and hard about which Faction to join.
Destiny 2 Dead Orbit weapons and armor guide
Dead orbit favor monochromatic armor in keeping with their space goth aesthetic. Think grays, blacks, whites and muddied browns.
Destiny 2 Future War Cult weapons and armor guide
Future War Cult’s fashion is a lot more retrofuturistic, combining yellows with bright oranges and dark blues. This Faction arguably stands out more from its peers, though some may consider their style a little too gaudy.
Destiny 2 New Monarchy weapons and armor guide
As you can probably tell by their name, the New Monarchy is a very regal Faction; think dark reds, golds and shiny silver.

- Raids

Equally as surprising, most of the same abilities will be carried over, although there will be some new ones. -
30 FPS, Except On PC
PC gamers are going to have a significant perk in the way of framerate, as all console versions will be 30 FPS locked. Even the Project Scorpio and PS4 Pro versions won't be able to push beyond this limit. Meanwhile, the PC version will enjoy up to 60 FPS. For a game that's about moving and shooting in a fast-paced environment, that's a major detail. -
