It’s that time of year again: Amazon Prime Day. What originally was dubbed “Amazon’s Garage Sale” back in 2015 (with the night’s opening deal being a bunch of Tupperware) saw a marked improvement in 2016 with actual great deals on high-end electronics and other top-shelf items.
With previews live for this year’s Amazon Prime Day, set to start at 6 p.m. Pacific Time (9 p.m. Eastern), we can already see a host of great gaming products in line for a Prime Day sale. We won’t know the exact prices until the deals actually post, but you’ll still want to keep an eye out on these products. Remember that you will need an Amazon Prime account (or access to one) to take part in the Amazon Prime Day sales. Many of these deals start in the evening tonight, July 10, while many others start tomorrow in the early morning, July 11.
Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades Edition (PS4, Xbox One)

Dark Souls III was easily one of 2016’s best games, and the second DLC pack, the Ringed City, is one of our favorite additions to the series. Luckily, The Fire Fades edition includes the base game and both DLC packs.
Even more fortunate for gamers is that Amazon has the base price of this version at $39.99. That means the sale price could easily be as little as $29.99, and perhaps even a little lower. With everything you get in addition to the base game, that’s certainly a great price.
Prey

While perhaps not a Game of the Year contender, Arkane Studios Prey was certainly worth a buy even at its full-price release MSRP of $60. It had a great progression system, and rewarded players well for exploring the vast, traversable Talos I space station. With Arkane’s penchant for level pathing, you can also get around in a variety of ways making no two playthroughs by different people the same.
The best news is that Prey is already on a separate, unrelated sale of 34% off its original $60 price, putting it at a price of $39.89. That means that the Prime Day Deal better be at least that much, and could be as much as 50% off, if I were a betting man.
Gears of War 4 Prop Lancer

Certainly a product for hardcore fans, this is a 1:1 scale prop Lancer from Gears of War 4, making it just as big as a theoretical Lancer would be in real life. Of course, it doesn’t work, so don’t go trying to cinematically saw aliens in half, but it’s certainly a unique item for your mantlepiece or man cave.
With an original price of 150 bucks, this probably turned away a lot of would-be buyers, but this Amazon Prime sale could change all of that. Without a proper reference point, it’s useless to speculate how low this could drop, but it’s certainly worth watching if you’re a Gears of War fan.
iXCC Gaming Mouse and Keyboard Combo

If you’re looking to upgrade to a legit gaming mouse and keyboard combination, you could do a whole lot worse than this bundle of both. Claiming to work right out of the box on Windows 10, 8 and 7, this combo will be easy to use with the specs to back it up.
Just like the case with Prey, the iXCC Gaming Mouse and Keyboard Combo is already on a separate, unrelated sale down 38% to $24.99. This gives us a good reference point for how low it could go. Assuming the Prime Day sale will be at least that much, we could see it go down to $19.99 or even lower.

While Nyko was the first to delve into third-party Nintendo Switch accessories, they aren’t the only ones. It seems many companies are looking to capitalize on the need for a more natural, ergonomic way to hold the individual Joy-Con controllers, and FastSnail gets the edge because they’re the ones going on sale.
With an original price of $12.95, it’s hard to believe they’re going to go on any sort of blockbuster 50%-80% off sale. I mean, they’re already so cheap. But, anything under $10 seems both likely and worth it.
