FFXIV: Stormblood’s Trailer Shows Why It Might Be the Biggest MMO Release of 2017

We’re extremely hyped for Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood over here at GameRevolution, to a point where we’ve spent the past couple weeks preparing for the expansion by leveling new jobs and gearing up. After learning more about the product during the recent Letter from the Producer by Naoki Yoshida, we’re convinced that it’s going to be the best era of one of our favorite MMOs yet.

Although Stormblood‘s official launch won’t be until June 20th, Early Access begins on June 16th. It’s getting mighty close, and to celebrate Square Enix has released its official launch trailer, seen below.

The above trailer demonstrates several of the expansion’s best features, including its introduction of two new jobs (Red Mage and Samurai), significant class reworks, an epic story centered around the liberation of Ala Mhigo and Doma from the Garlean empire, and a beautiful new region to explore.

If you’re going to be playing the expansion, then be sure to let us know which server you’ll be on. While our staff is on Ultros, there are multiple GameRevolution community members who play elsewhere.
