Is Resident Evil 6 Still A Survival Horror Game?

Capcom Summer Jam is a thing and it happened. It happened in a place called Japan. That's why the video above has lots of Japanese commentary over it. The event was open to the public and Resident Evil 6 got a heaping helping of on-stage time.

Watch as Leon S. Kennedy explores a dark area! SPOOKY! Watch as he slowly opens doors! OOOOOH! Watch as he– OH SHIT WHY ARE THOSE ZOMBIES EATING THAT WOMAN?!?! Help her Leon you bastard! Help!

So, does Survival Horror still have a place in the Resident Evil series?
