Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown Arriving In June

Fighting fans, the wait is almost over. Sega has finally announced that Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown, the second enhancement of the original VF5, will be available in North America for PlayStation Network on June 5th and Xbox Live Arcade on June 6th.

It's already been two years since Final Showdown was released in Japanese arcades almost two full years ago in July 2010, with the Version A released in April 2011. Yep, it surely took its sweet time getting here.

Final Showdown welcomes two characters to the original roster: sumo wrestler Taka-Arashi from Virtua Fighter 3 and Jean Kujo, a J6 assassin with strong Karate-based attacks but whom has had his memory wiped.

Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown will cost $14.99/£9.99/AUD$18.25/ €12.99.
