PlayStation Vita Call of Duty Coming This Year

You'd better be ready to put those dual-analog sticks to work later this year when a new iteration of the massively successful first-person shooter, Call of Duty, lands on Sony's new handheld, the PlayStation Vita.

Senior Vice President of PlayStation Brand Marketing Guy Longworth told Game Trailers that:

in the autumn, [my kids are] really looking forward to Call of Duty Vita, and we think that's going to be an absolute game-changer for the platform.

Longworth drops the name so casually! It's almost as if we shouldn't have been surprised at all. In fact, the Call of Duty brand was displayed very prominently during Sony's E3 Press Conference among future Vita software. The question now is whether or not the Vita will be receiving the same Call of Duty title consoles will get later this year (presumably Black Ops 2) or will it get a port of an earlier game?
