Rumor: Dead Rising 3 in California, Stars Auto-Mechanic

According to a rumor by Siliconera, Dead Rising 3 will star Rick (pictured right), an orphan and auto-mechanic, in the fictional city of Los Perdidos, California. After the inevitable zombie outbreak, the town gets locked down and Rick must find the parts and fuel to repair a plane to get the f*** out of there.

Since the town is shut down under martial law, and the military is probably responsible for clearing the zombie outbreak by using a bomb, it's safe to assume that Rick has three days to earn the parts, save a slew of people for experience points, use his mechanical skills to fashion some wicked combo weapons, and flee before the whole town goes kaboom.

The touchy subject of illegal immigration also runs through the game, though the type of illegals we're talking about are infected people not registered by the government and led by a character named Red. Apparently, Red's girlfriend, Annie, sympathizes with them. How this connects with Rick's struggle isn't clear.

What is clear, though, is that one of the psychopathic bosses is a biker gang member who drives a motorcycle, steam roller hybrid called a "Roller Hog". Screw the zombies. I want that now.
