Here Are All Eight Teams Invited To The Dota 2 Kiev Major

Part of Dota 2's premier tournament lineup, the Kiev Major will take place the weekend of April 27 to April 30, and, this morning, Valve announced the eight teams who received a coveted direct invite. Teams who received an invite will not have to compete during the open or regional qualifiers, which begin on March 6 and March 10, respectively.

Perhaps the biggest surprise, and a pleasant one at that, is that the Greek team Ad Finem, who made that big splash at the Boston Major but has been quiet since, received a direct invite for the Kiev Major. Since Ad Finem has failed to qualify for the two biggest Dota 2 tournaments since the Boston Major, surviving the qualifiers was no guarantee.

Here are all eight Dota 2 teams that received a direct invite to the Kiev Major.
