PlayStation EU Announces Horizon Zero Dawn Bundle, But Not For The PS4 Pro

Horizon Zero Dawn is certainly one of the most anticipated PS4 titles of 2017, particularly if you're someone who has a PS4 Pro. But, if you're someone who doesn't already have a PS4 Pro and are looking for that easy avenue for access, Horizon Zero Dawn might not be the right game.

PlayStation Europe announced today that there will be a console bundle with Horizon Zero Dawn that also includes 3 months of PS Plus … with a 1TB PS4 Slim, which is the same console bundled with last year's Final Fantasy XV.

Naturally, many people have already taken issue with Sony's apparent decision to not have a PS4 Pro bundle with Horizon Zero Dawn, taking to Twitter and their blog website to complain. While it's important to note that there is technically still time for such a bundle to be announced, you also have to wonder where that bundle is at all.

To this date, the PS4 Pro does not have an official bundle at all. Compare this with the Xbox One S (Microsoft's answer to the Pro) that already has two bundles and just announced two more with Halo Wars 2 and Forza Horizon 3.

So, you're right to say that there is still time for the PlayStation to announce a high-profile bundle with the PS4 Pro, but they better make use of it if they want to keep up with their competition.
