Back when the Nintendo Switch was revealed, we were told that more information about the handheld-at-home hybrid would be officially revealed in January. That time is Thursday at 8 p.m. Pacific time (which makes that early-to-late Friday for anywhere across the pond), where you'll be able to watch via the Nintendo Switch's official website.
Because almost every official word has been saved for this event, the gaming community has done a fair amount of speculating as to the exact nature of the upcoming console, with a bevy of supposed leaks making people wonder, but I say it's time to stop wondering and start asking – nay – demanding.

5. $250 Price Tag
This is one of those things that's been heavily rumored, but I don't just want a price to be confirmed, I want this specific price to be confirmed. Anything more than $250 would have me suddenly short for cash, and I imagine I won't be the only one.

4. Touchscreen
Since the announcement of the Switch, it has been reported that it will, in fact, have a touchscreen. Assuming this report is accurate, it still raises the question as to why, during the first reveal trailer, no one was shown using it.

rnMy guess is that the touchscreen is only for in- and out-of-game menus and there won't be any touchscreen-related gameplay, which would be a bit of a disappointment. Still, though, put up or shut up. -
3. Third Party Titles (Exclusives?)
Nintendo Switch has third-party support. We know that. Now it just needs the titles. It already missed the boat with Mass Effect: Andromeda, so we should really see some other games at this event to get me excited.

rnWhat would really do the trick, though, is to announce a big third-party exclusive. Doesn't have to be from a huge IP or anything, but a recognizable studio showing off an interesting exclusive (or at least timed exclusive) would really have me ready to shell out for the Switch. -
2. Official Specs
There has been such a wide variety of details reported about the Switch's specs that I can't make heads or tails from it all. This is one of those things that just needs to be confirmed for the sake of clarity.

rnGive us an in-depth look at the inner-workings of the Nintendo Switch. Anything less will seem like dodging, and, given the now kaput reputation of the Wii U, shady marketing won't help excitement for the Switch. -
1. Pokemon Stars
Pokemon Stars is little more than an unsubstantiated rumor at this point, but all signs seem to be pointing to its existence. We had a Gamestop pre-order ad that listed the ability to "Play Pokemon at Home," (that sentence has now been removed from the website, lending even more credence to the existence of a Pokemon game on the Switch), and the Stars title would fit with the Sun and Moon theme.

rnEven though it wouldn't be third-party, this is the sort of title that could really sell me a Switch. Given that Pokemon Sun and Moon are considered the best Pokemon games since the original and given that the third in any given Pokemon generation is usually the best, I'd be *ahem* over the moon with excitement.
