Update: Our winners have been selected. Thanks to everyone who participated!
Original: At this year's E3 Square Enix treated those who played Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward with a gorgeous print originally drawn by the legendary Akihiko Yoshida. Seen above, it was one of the coolest pieces of swag at the show measuring at 17" x 11".
I managed to score two of these prints after playing FFXIV: Heavensward at the show. Instead of keeping them for myself, I've decided to do a giveaway so that even those who weren't fortunate enough to attend E3 2015 can get one.
In order to enter for a chance to win one of these two prints, all you need to do is post a Final Fantasy XIV haiku poem in the comments below. For entry, you must post three phrases using a 5, 7, 5 syllable format. Posting a haiku that includes information relevant to FFXIV: Heavensward may give you an edge. The most important thing is that your haiku feels well-thought out, whether it's funny or clever.
Also, you need to post your haiku using a Game Revolution account (sign up here). This will allow me to private message the two winners to get their shipping information. This giveaway is only for U.S. residents due to shipping costs.
This giveaway will conclude on June 25th, just two days after FFXIV: Heavensward's official launch. At that time the two haiku poems that we think are the best will win a print.
FFXIV: Heavensward is the first expansion for Final Fantasy XIV, an MMO by Square Enix. It brings with it three new jobs, a level cap increase to 60, new areas to explore, flying mounts, and much more. Tomorrow, it enters Early Access for those who pre-order. As I described in my E3 preview, this expansion has the potential to be a huge hit.
