The long-rumored sequel to ZombiU would have reportedly featured co-op.
According to the latest Unseen64 podcast, the game would have allowed a pair of players to explore its "run-down, zombie apocalypse setting" together. Apparently the studio was "very adamant about trying to do co-op survival horror properly without compromising the tension and the horror factor of it."
It's a shame the game almost certainly won't ever see the light of day, but considering Wii U's small user base, it's hard to blame Ubisoft for axing the project.
