Roguelike Space Shooter Stellar Announced for PC

Developer Dog Eat Dog Games has announced a brand-new roguelike space shooter that features both 2D and 3D combat. The game is called Stellar and is set to release on PC sometime in 2016.

Check out the game's announcement trailer below.

Stellar features a "vast procedurally generated universe" and centers around an alien's quest to "dominate the cosmos on behalf of his race." Gamers will be able to shift dimensions, going from 3D to 2D, to trap enemies on a 2D plane.

While the game isn't set for release until 2016, Stellar will be playable for PAX South attendees later this year.
